Plum Hires Erinoula Kyrantonis as Its New Head of Branding and Comms

Plum announced that it has hired Erinoula Kyrantonis as its new Head of Branding and Comms, effective from February 2022.

According to a press release shared with Finance Magnates, Erinoula Kyrantonis, a brand and  marketing  executive with more than eight years of experience, has been recruited by Plum, a fast-growing fintech company that provides an app for managing money, as its new Head of Branding and Comms.

Kyrantonis is now responsible for managing Plum’s brand positioning and retaining uniformity across communication channels. She brings her brand and marketing experience which is from leading consumer brands, such as Red Bull and Vita Coco.

Kyrantonis Career History

Before the announcement, Kyrantonis served Weezy and joined the organisation in December 2020. Initially, she became a freelance Interim Brand Manager for the first few months. Though, a month later, she was given an additional role of Head of Brand & Comms where she stayed for fourteen months as well as spending five months as Brand Lead, according to her LinkedIn Profile.

Earlier on, she was onboarded by NICE Drinks as Head of Brand & Creative. For more than two years, she focused on developing the brand along with other duties required of the role.

Prior to NICE drinks, Candy Kittens utilised her experience and skills first as a Field Marketing Manager in January 2017. After just short of a year, the company promoted him to Brand Manager.

In July 2015, he joined the ranks of Vita Coco as a Business Development Manager.

Though, his first known position was with Red Bull as its Wings Team Leader (Field Marketing).

A Wealth of Experience

The CEO & Co-Founder of Plum, Victor Trokoudes, shared his comments on the announcement: “Kyrantonis joins us with a wealth of experience helping leading consumer brands build their public identity and marketing strategies. As we continue with our exciting growth plans and upcoming product launches, she is ideally placed to help develop and manage our messaging to consumers and we are delighted to have her on board.”

This announcement follows a recent Series A funding round of $24 million. In fact, Plum intends to hasten its bold growth plans with its European expansion along with an array of new products that it plans to introduce this year. One such product, a US stock investing product is planned to be launched later this month. This will introduce EU and UK stocks, crypto assets, new pension funds and a  payments  card to assist clients as they manage their daily spending and budgeting.
